Biodefense Reference Material Repository (BRMR)

The Biodefense Reference Material Repository (BRMR) is an ISO 17034 accredited certified reference material repository that provides critical supplies and services to support quality-controlled diagnostic and environmental sampling programs for biodefense and public health. We help ensure laboratory and field operational readiness by offering a comprehensive suite of reference materials, positive controls, assay reagents, and proficiency testing panels.

To meet dynamic operational requirements, the BRMR features a "Samples on Demand" service that delivers customizable viable, non-viable, and nucleic acid samples loaded into various matrices. We also maintain a catalog of high-demand, non-viable bacterial and viral surrogate controls and species-specific bacteriophage reagents (such as γ, φA1122, and Tbilisi phages) for the reliable identification of culturable bacteria.

For overseas and field-deployable laboratories facing cold chain challenges, the BRMR provides lyophilized (freeze-dried) materials to guarantee product stability in any environment.
